I've come to the realisation that we are in that point of the year when people start to get sick. There's a little coughing going on in the back of the office, maybe one of your friends can't stop sneezing, or you are like me, where you just know. You feel it, like a shadow crawling from underneath summer's bed and getting ready to rock the fall.
I have discovered the ultimate salvation kit. This list includes every possible item you might need in case of a cold attack. It makes a great present for those who are already ill, and well, it's just nice..
I'm sure your friends or relatives will really appreciate it.
The first step towards recovery is a good cup of tea. After all, you've got to stay hydrated. Dragonfly tea is the perfect option. Being caffeine free makes it easier for the body to not dehydrate, and it's easier to fall asleep. My choice is Rooibos Vanilla everytime, but
Waitrose has a huge selection.

I am also in love with the instant teas from
Whittard of Chelsea. They currently have an offer of 3 for 2, so I chose my favourite flavours and placed my order. Again, the selection of flavours is huge, so try them all. The advantage of these teas is that they can be served hot or cold, and there is no need to add sugar.

Ill people need to feed. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. However, when you don't feel well you just don't feel like eating. In my case, I am more of a soup and crackers person. I found really nice tomato and basil twists in Waitrose, but when it comes to soup I gotta stay old school. Heinz Chicken Noodle Soup. It always does the trick, everytime! It's great for hangovers too.. I like to add a few drops of tabasco lolz.

I love giving people blankets. They claim they are useless at first, but they always end up using them when they least expect to. So, if you're up for buying 100 pounds worth of blanket, go to Jack Wills and buy this beauty. However, if you're on a budget, just buy these uber cute socks from Topman.

When I am feeling under the weather I read Tim Burton. Your friends should do the same. Best book ever. Short, dark, funny, and with pictures. Great rhymes too.

Ohhh and last but not least,
HMV is selling the whole freaking trilogy of Back to the Future for 9,99. Buy it!
Wrap it all nicely, add a card with a smiley face and make someone ill feel better :P
