NY city of dreams..

It has been a while since I went to New York. Almost three months!!! Due to my job hunt I have been quite busy, trying to find suitable employment for this lost soul that is me...

As you may recall, I mentioned my trip to NY was epic. It was my first time (shy face) in the Big Apple. I cannot describe how or what I felt when I stepped into Manhattan for the first time more accurately than saying, 'it feels like home'.
Seriously, everything in NY is so present in TV, music, movies, that somehow we all feel like a part of it. NY can be scary and sometimes quite weird, but it is a great ride with tons of great food and great atmosphere. Actually, it can become so hectic that it's almost like time travel. Moving a million miles an hour can be good for the brain and in NY there's no place for visual polution, just a lot of stuff to take in.

So, here is the best of my NY trip in pictures.
Oh, and if I had to compare NY and London I just rather stay quiet. There is no comparison, they are 2 different cities. Both are equally creative and fun, and both have that funky smell in their train stations.

So, that's it... for now. I will be back NY...

Life from my Peephole..

There are times when you have to take it easy. Sometimes a deep breath is all it takes, and sometimes you have to try a bit harder.
The ticket to life is an expensive one, but it's full of perks..

Song of the Day. Fake Empire

This is the typical soundtrack song. When you watch TV and people are feeling bad about something they've done this song comes up. At least it does in a couple of shows....

Enjoy it is a beautiful track!

Song of the Day. Return to Sender

Sometimes enough is enough. Even back then when there were no email, facebook or twitter.
Old school REJECTION.

Museum of the Order of St. John

London is full of free things to do. Shocking is when one of the best free museums I have seen is literally around the corner.
Let me explain.
The other day, with the sun at full blast and all, I decided to wander around Farringdon. I bumped into some friends and then we ended up at the Museum of the Order of St John. You know when people over-use the term 'hidden gem'? Well, this place is a true HIDDEN GEM. No kidding.

The museum tells the story of the Order of St John, from its origins up until the era of St John Ambulance.
There are two galleries full of different artifacts, from both muslim and christian soldiers. A vast collection of ancient coins are on display along with letters from the 1600s.
The second part of the museum is the crypt from the 12th century. I have never seen anything like it.

Go and check it out!!!!!!
