My Pretty Desk..

This is like going back to school, except it's going back to the office. I am assuming everyone has had a lovely holiday, so now it's time to go back to work.
To make it less boring and a bit more 'bright' I found new stationery and desk accessories to make your desk the envy of the office.


First  there have to be stickers. It doesn't matter how old you are, stickers are always useful. Specially when they are shaped like hearts.

When I was a kid, I used to collect erasers. I had them in every shape and colour, and I would never use them, keep them in a box and let them look pretty. I might do the same with the erasers below..

When I was doing research for this article, I found the same item twice. This pencil sharpener is actually a desk tidy, how cool is it? You can either go to Paperchase, or go to Urban Outfitters to buy it.

A good notepad is essential for any working girl. This notepad from Topshop is very S&M, so no one in the office will mess with you.. or maybe the other way around hehe

Garden/Terrace Shop-a-holic

I found some cool accessories to adorn gardens and terraces everywhere. Not only are they pretty, but also very trendy and cheap.



First, I came across this lovely birthday present. It is chilli seeds in a little bag. The presentation is quite modern, which makes it a very cool and different birthday present and also a lovely summer plant to look after. If you need some chilli sauce recipes, let me know.

This beautiful picnic basket is from Butlers. It comes equipped with anything you might need to have a successful getaway to Hampstead Heath and have a picnic. Yei!

This flowerpot is from Butlers as well. I chose the picture of the pink one, but they have a range with different designs and colours. The reason why these must be purchased is because with one or two of these in your terrace or garden, the whole atmosphere will change. I love the vintage look and the femininity.

Last but not least, for all my smokers out there, Urban Outfitters has found a trendy solution to ashes and buds. The 'Fire Bucket Ashtray'. How cool is this? I alredy have my own, sitting outside my balcony and let me tell you, it looks so good I want to buy a second one for the other corner.

Sunglasses Block Visual Pollution.

Sunglasses are one of the most amazing accessories in the world. They are just so versatile. Sometimes they are very plain, sometimes very funky, sometimes very weird. I love sunglasses.
This summer, the weather is picking up and wether you are going abroad to sit in the sand of a paradise beach, or staying sunbathing at Regents Park, Sunglasses are a MUST!

I found some cool sunglasses that I will eventually buy. Check them out.



The first pair were designed by Henry Holland, they come in two colours, yellow and pink. These sunnies are just begging to be worn. Plus, they are being sold at Urban Outfitters, and that is OK with me. the price is 141 pounds. Buy em!

This pair is by Prada. They are quite funky, but there is something about this pair that makes me wanna put on a nice summer dress and rock these babes..

I don't know if this pair of D&G sunglasses are new collection or not, but they are amazing. I consider these an alternative option to tortoiseshell, which is so trendy at the time.
It has the same colours as tortoiseshell but it looks a bit different, so if you are an innovator, buy these. This pair can be worn with everything. My choice? These are the ultimate Summer Festival accessory.

There are many more options out there, it is just a matter of finding what suits you best. Remember to ask the shop assistant for a shape that suits your face, don't be a fashion victim. There is nothing worse than trying to pull off a style that does not suit you. Be adventurous, but don't be a fool.

Beach Bag Frenzy!

I am an accessories freak. My closet? Plain and sometimes quite boring, but my accessories. Oh, those take the prize.
I have shoes, bags, scarfs, necklaces, clutches, earrings, rings sunglasses, all of the above, in every colour, shape and size. I Have it all, but then who doesn't nowadays?
I blame my mother, she is the one who taught me how to accumulate stuff up to the point of almost becoming a hoarder. She used to say that Fashion is a cycle, and well she was not wrong. I just end up keeping a lot of stuff 'Just in Case'. I need a closet cleaning soon.

So, I did some digging, and whatever your style, I found the perfect summer totes (hoarding is forgotten now). Some more expensive than others, but all of these have their very own characteristic style and I love them all, or well, my alter egos love them.

This is an Anya Hindmarch Boat Bag Tote. I love the colour, I love the straps and I just love how it is perfect for a sunny day. Find it at Selfridges, Harrods or net-a-porter. 85 pounds.

Ok, this MARC by Marc Jacobs bag is absolutely divine! What's not to love? The colour is amazing, and that little purse on the side is the perfect complement to carry your valuables in, don't you think?

Let me introduce you to the Lanvin Leaf Tote. It is amazing. Well, it is Lanvin after all. I love how they always go the extra mile. <3.
This bag is approximately 470 pounds. It goes with everything, and the print is the perfect accessory for this summer's trend!

I am Mexican, and I can't deny my roots. I love love love this Navajo Blanket  tote. It reminds me of a 70s Pocahontas. It is more affordable than the rest, and to me, it looks like the perfect companion for a day out in Portobello. 28 pounds. Urban Outfitters.

And Etsy as usual has another great one. This tote is only 10 DOLLARS!!! It is amazing. I love the Vintage Bike, plus how many people are going to have a tote like this?! Love it! Buy It!
