Frost in the frost. (The Heart/Star Theory)

It's time for some bling. The irony of how accessories warm a woman's heart is indescribable.

The joy of buying earrings, necklaces and bracelets starts since you are a baby. Come on, shiny objects fascinate young children, and most girls LOVE making their own accessories with sparkly materials and glitter. (Ke$ha would be proud).

Ok, so first piece of the day is a ring that will make you drool. The colours are trendy as fudge. I like it because it is big, but not ridiculously huge. Rings should be accessories, not pets, or extra fingers.

Pink glitz. It's like marshmallows! Beautiful earrings can change the whole shape of your face. These ones are perfect for a night out or for a day at the office. Always glamorous.

Have I ever told you about my 'Heart/Star' theory? It's like people who like cats or people who prefer dogs. According to my extensive experience attending girls' schools I can assure you that those girls who draw and love hearts, don't like stars. Girls who like stars definitely don't like hearts. It's not that they hate them, they just prefer either one or the other.. I swear!

These are just soo Katy Perry meets the Petshop Boys! Oh damn, so many things are going through my head right now; 80s music, bubblegum smell,  Pop Art..

If Peter Pan was a girl, she would wear this!

As you can probably tell I am a hearts girl. I draw them all the time. Stars are too complicated...

The good thing about accessories like jewellery is that it is difficult for them to go out of trend. Allegedly, a friend of mine says that 'due to how personal it is to choose jewellery and with the vast variety that can be found,  it is possible to find options for different tastes. Therefore, people make jewellery their own.'
She's not wrong, think about it... The most common objects that pass from generation to generation are mainly rings, earrings, brooches, etc.

This is to remind me that Xmas is not that awful. Yes I am one of those Xmas haters.. well, let's just say I don't see the point. However, gingerbread man is funny :P

My pulse is terrible. I shake, i shake like a blender. I can't draw :(
I like hand painted stuff because it reminds me of how others are much more talented than I am at so many things. Ok, I don't know if this bangle is hand painted but it looks like it...

Well, that was a loooot of bangles and blings and bubblegum smells... Awesome!

The 'I think I'm ill' kit..

I've come to the realisation that we are in that point of the year when people start to get sick. There's a little coughing going on in the back of the office, maybe one of your friends can't stop sneezing, or you are like me, where you just know. You feel it, like a shadow crawling from underneath summer's bed and getting ready to rock the fall.

I have discovered the ultimate salvation kit. This list includes every possible item you might need in case of a cold attack. It makes a great present for those who are already ill, and well, it's just nice..
I'm sure your friends or relatives will really appreciate it.

The first step towards recovery is a good cup of tea. After all, you've got to stay hydrated. Dragonfly tea is the perfect option. Being caffeine free makes it easier for the body to not dehydrate, and it's easier to fall asleep. My choice is Rooibos Vanilla everytime, but Waitrose has a huge selection.

Caffeine free tea

I am also in love with the instant teas from Whittard of Chelsea. They currently have an offer of 3 for 2, so I chose my favourite flavours and placed my order. Again, the selection of flavours is huge, so try them all. The advantage of these teas is that they can be served hot or cold, and there is no need to add sugar.

Ill people need to feed. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. However, when you don't feel well you just don't feel like eating. In my case, I am more of a soup and crackers person. I found really nice tomato and basil twists in Waitrose, but when it comes to soup I gotta stay old school. Heinz Chicken Noodle Soup. It always does the trick, everytime! It's great for hangovers too.. I like to add a few drops of tabasco lolz.

A classic

I love giving people blankets. They claim they are useless at first, but they always end up using them when they least expect to. So, if you're up for buying 100 pounds worth of blanket, go to Jack Wills and buy this beauty. However, if you're on a budget, just buy these uber cute socks from Topman.

When I am feeling under the weather I read Tim Burton. Your friends should do the same. Best book ever. Short, dark, funny, and with pictures. Great rhymes too.

7.19 pounds, Waterstone's
Ohhh and last but not least, HMV is selling the whole freaking trilogy of Back to the Future for 9,99. Buy it!
Wrap it all nicely, add a card with a smiley face and make someone ill feel better :P

Lazy Monday Pyjamas

Monday is the beginning of the week, but for some strange reason, it's a lazy day. Maybe people are still dragging their Sunday mood, or it's a tide thing. It doesn't really matter, it just is.. in the air..

That's why this week I will focus on being lazy. The weather is changing dramatically, and people will start to catch colds. When that happens, I will be there to save the day as usual.

Today it's PJs, for girls. There is nothing better for the cold nights, when you cuddle with Ben and Jerry, and you watch Desperate Housewives. NOTHING! So cute pjs are a must.

Here are my choices and why I like them..

Jack Wills has always been one of my favourites. I am not scared to admit it, their navy and pink stripes drive me crazy..
They always come up with good clothes for 'chillin' right? Everything is always so soft and comfortable.
The shorts below are cute, sexy and definitely comfortable.

Wake up and put this on to go to the kitchen. It is sooooo cute I have run out of words to describe it!

To be honest, there are not many cool pjs out there, but this Calvin Klein slepshirt is definitely sexy. A girl always looks good, even while she's dreaming!

Finally Topshop. I can't help myself because they just have so much stuff, it is hard to resist..
Plus if you live in London you need to like Topshop and if you don't, well, whatever..
I'm sure these pjs will change anybody's mind!
